MARUYAMA Tokio (Contemporary Artist, Performance Artist)
MARUYAMA has expressed his works by installation, performance, photograph and video since 1979 under the key concept of "Field work in the city".
He thinks that various environments are "a grand station" where energy of information and sight are passing by and flowing thorough. Then he plans to reorganize and reembody it, making samplings of various "traces = memories" about artificial activities and natural phenomena.
